2009 USL-1 “Normalized” Standings – Week #9

The Puerto Rico Islanders broke a 4 game winless streak with a victory on the road in week-9 “normal” action, their first win in 6 games. The Islanders (12 pts) are now in 5th place in the “normal” standings, 7 points behind the league leading Charleston Battery and Carolina Railhawks who are tied on the top with 19 points. Both leaders posted wins this week.

In other “normal” week-9 action, the Vancouver Whitecaps lost their 2nd game in a row, this time 2-1 to the Montreal Impact; Portland Timbers and Miami FC this week while the Rochester Rhinos and, the Cleveland City Stars lost their respective games this week.

The Austin Aztex and the Minnesotta Thunder tied their respective in week-9.

Now with 5 wins and 4 ties, the Charleston Battery still remain undefeated, while the Minnesota Thunder remains winless in 9 games this year.
