BoriQa & Bill “The Wall” Gaudette, 2008 USL Goalie of the Year, after the 2-0 Puerto Rico win in Rochester on September 12, 2008 that placed the Islanders within one point of winning the 2008 Commissioner’s Cup.

BoriQa, also known as the Maple Leaf Coquí, is a member of the Batallón S10 fan club, who often writes editorials for the club, posts about the Islanders in many English and Spanish forums accross the internet and the Islanders TheOffside blog.

BoriQa keeps Islanders statistics for the Batallón S10 (where he holds the title: General Statistique Obligatoire), and manages the Islanders Team Official Newsletter.

He also prepares USL Fans match reports and scoreboard summary diagrams for his many postings.

BoriQa is originally from Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico, and now resides in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. His other soccer interests include the Sevilla FC Puerto Rico and the Toronto FC.
